Love Leo is run by bereaved families for bereaved families ensuring that no one has to face baby loss alone.
Through shared understanding, open conversations and community connection, we support families to share their stories, honour their babies and find comfort in those that truly understand.
Peer to Peer Support Meetings
We run monthly peer to peer support meetings located in Hornchurch, Essex on the second Thursday of each month from 6pm–7:45pm. This is a loss focused support group and is available for adults only.
The group is open to bereaved families and is intimate, friendly and relaxed with no agenda or pressure to share. Simply a warm drink and a chat with people that really understand. We laugh, we cry and we speak freely in a safe space with no judgement.
We have our own private room tucked away from the public and free refreshments are provided. Please contact us for more details on the next meet.
Peer to Peer Stay & Play Social
We run a monthly peer to peer support group in the form of a stay and play social for those parenting after loss. This group runs once per month on a Wednesday daytime in Hornchurch, Essex.
We recognise that having living children comes with its own unique challenges. Often parents that go on to grow their family report feeling anxious about stepping back into a world that they have been desperately avoiding. Facing the pain of being asked the question that we all dread — ‘how many children do you have?’.
The group is open to all families with children 0–4 years parenting after loss. This is a safe space with our own private room tucked away from the public. Refreshments for the parents and lots of toys for the siblings are available. Please contact us to find out the details for the next meet.
Peer to Peer Dads Social
We organise regular meets for dads offering the opportunity to connect with local fathers navigating life after the loss of a baby.
These meets are run with a different activity each time such as electro-darts, pool etc providing a relaxed environment with no pressure to share.
Activities & Events
We carry out regular activities and events which encourage mindfulness, socialisation and help reduce anxiety.
We carry out regular walk and talk sessions, and have run wellness events including bespoke yoga, meditation and soundbath sessions. We have hosted private pottery painting and wreath making sessions and ran bespoke afternoon tea sessions for mother’s day.
We hold events to support bereaved siblings of all ages and the wider family including our annual summer picnic, Easter fun days and special events during baby loss awareness week.
